CHAT & CHEW

Ladies and Gentleman~ Please plan to attend this year’s scheduled Chat n Chew seminars.  We are lucky to have 3 great speakers scheduled.  Attached are the dates, locations and speakers.

Please bring any staff you would like to be included.  Feel free to invite neighboring schools’ directors and teachers.  We would love to have a good crowd at each one! One hour of state endorsed training will be given for seminars.

Bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks and desserts will be provided by host sites. Lunch and networking is from 11:30-12 and seminar is from 12-1.

Wednesday, January 26, 2017 – Teri Anderson, Sharing the JOY of Sign Language

Monday, April 24, 2017 – Heather Bennett, Creation Care/Blessed Earth

Heather always had a love for creation, but was unsure how it connected with her faith.  Many years ago, she read Serve God, Save the Planet written by Dr. Matthew Sleeth. She was excited to read something that finally connected the dots for her.  Heather will tell us her story and how she uses the foundation of Blessed Earth in her creation care ministry and how we can use it with preschoolers, teaching them to be good stewards of God’s creation. Grace UMC – Mt Juliet 2905 N Mt Juliet Rd Mt Juliet, TN 37122
