Director of Childcare Ministries
City Road Chapel United Methodist Church (Madison, TN) is pleased to announce a search for an energetic professional dedicated to supporting families by providing high-quality care for children.
The Director of Childcare Ministries will be a part of the ministry team of the church, charged with the responsibility for the day to day operations of our Child Development Center, which is a full-service daycare for infants through preschool as well as an afterschool program for children up through the 4th grade operating five days a week and serving approximately 90 children. This person will also advise and supervise the director of our Mother’s Day Out program, which provides care two days a week during the school year (serving around 60 children).
We are looking for an energetic candidate with a passion for providing quality care for children. The ideal candidate shall:
Have experience in directing a full-service daycare and fully meet all standards allowing our program to maintain a 3-star status.
Have a positive presence that is able to work effectively with children, parents, and teachers, inspiring all in the goal of providing quality care.
Have a sensitivity to the faith context of this position, and is able to work with the pastor and other staff to ensure that this program is an integral part of our ministry vision at City Road Chapel UMC.
