The Presbyterian Day School is a ministry of the Hendersonville First Presbyterian Church which provides quality early childhood education in a faith-based environment that is child-related, and individualized. This position starts in August 2019, follows the Sumner County school calendar for breakas and holidays, is scheduled for 8:30 – 3:30, and meets Monday — Thursday (Fridays off!). Salary based on education and experience, $10 – $12/hr
Position requires curriculum implementation and lesson planning, parent/staff communication and an understanding of DHS standards.
Knowledge of TN-ELDS and developmentally appropriate practice necessary.
All childcare employees must complete DHS mandated trainings that are online and submit to a background check. All of the pre-employment requirements can be completed over the course of the summer.
